Editorial Policy
Tapeandtick publishes factual reference material and reporting focused on the index, the exchange on which it trades, and its daily session activity. Our coverage is structured around defined sections including indices, asset classes, market structure, and regulation. We do not publish content related to betting, gambling, or personal financial advice presented as instruction. We will not feature invented quotes, health or legal guidance, or any material pertaining to an individual's private life.
Editorial content, such as news and analysis, is clearly separated from core reference material. Reference pages, including those for indices, exchanges, and sectors, are maintained as stable, objective entries that document facts and established structures. Reporting builds upon this foundation to cover developments, flows, and session-by-session activity, but is always distinct from the permanent reference resource.
When a claim or piece of data cannot be independently verified from a primary or authoritative source, it is not published. Tapeandtick relies on official exchange data, regulatory filings, and statements from designated institutions. Any analysis or interpretation is grounded in these verifiable facts and will be clearly contextualised as such.
All images are credited to their source. We use real photographs or graphics where applicable and will never publish a software-generated image depicting a real person's face. Charts and data visualisations are based on verified datasets and will be clearly labelled.
Readers with queries or comments regarding our editorial content or reference pages are welcome to contact the editors. Correspondence should be directed to the published contact address for tapeandtick.
