Investor focus is sharp on several fronts. Analysts seek clarity on the reasons for expected revenue growth underperformance in the fiscal year, the retention of recent mega-deals, and the competing impacts of macroeconomic weakness versus AI-led deflation. The conversion of generative AI programs from pilots to scaled deployments is a key watchpoint, as is the company's ability to defend margins amid pricing pressure. Brokerages Motilal Oswal and HDFC Securities expect constant-currency growth of about 0.5% quarter-on-quarter for Q2, while JM Financial expects total contract value between $8 billion and $10 billion, excluding the pending Porsche deal.

The company's recent performance provides context. In Q1 FY27, Infosys reported revenue of Rs 72,275 crore with constant-currency growth of 0.4%. Its operating margin was 24.0%, down 130 basis points due to wage hikes. The company's dividend history shows consistent payouts.

Sudeep Shah, Vice President, Technical and Derivatives Research at SBI Securities, noted the stock's technical position. "Infosys faced resistance near its 20-day EMA and formed a sizeable bearish candle before closing lower," he said. He also highlighted a key support zone, stating, "On the downside, Shah expects the ₹980-975 zone to act as a key support."
