Sectors: Nasdaq has completed its acquisition of Dasseti, an AI due diligence platform

Nasdaq has completed its acquisition of Dasseti. Dasseti is an AI-powered due diligence and monitoring platform. The deal was first announced on July 23, 2026. It builds on an early-stage investment made by Nasdaq Ventures in 2022.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Dasseti's capabilities will now be integrated into the Nasdaq eVestment platform.

Expanding the eVestment ecosystem

Nasdaq eVestment operates as a central hub. It connects asset managers with institutional investors. The platform links about 4,800 contributing asset managers with more than 1,200 asset owners and intermediaries. It powers over $90 trillion in assets under management. This spans more than 112,000 products in 109 countries.

Its coverage of private markets is extensive. This now includes more than 16,000 managers and 95,000 funds. Data is accessible in several ways. It is available via Nasdaq eVestment itself, global data providers, and customer relationship management platforms.

Dasseti's AI-driven capabilities

Dasseti applies artificial intelligence to simplify key processes. These include due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, and ongoing monitoring. The platform covers 17,000 asset managers and general partners. They represent $34 trillion in assets under management. This makes it one of the industry's largest due diligence ecosystems.

Integration into Nasdaq eVestment should bring benefits. It is expected to accelerate response times and improve data quality. The goal is clear. It aims to give consultants and institutional investors a unified path. This path goes from initial screening through selection and ongoing monitoring. For asset managers, it seeks to unify the RFP, due diligence questionnaire, and database management experience. All within a single environment.

A more connected institutional workflow

Oliver Albers commented on the industry's current challenges. He is Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer for Capital Access Platforms at Nasdaq. "Much of the due diligence and RFP process still happens outside core research platforms," he said. "It exists in a patchwork of spreadsheets, PDFs, and email threads."

He stated that with Dasseti, Nasdaq is bringing AI-powered due diligence into eVestment. This move is intended to create a more connected experience for institutional investors. The combined platform aims to help them. It will help them move from research to decision-making with greater efficiency.

The acquisition highlights the growing complexity institutional teams face. They operate across an expanding universe. This universe includes managers, strategies, and asset classes. This is particularly true in private markets. There, data is less standardized and reporting demands are high. The integration seeks to address these challenges. It will do so directly within the Nasdaq eVestment ecosystem.
